As President of Cadre5, Steve Hicks brings an extensive portfolio of experience in developing Internet-based products and building complex business support systems. Steve was SVP and Chief Technology Officer of Scripps Networks; EVP, and Chief Administrative Officer of iPIX Corp.; and EVP, Sr. Partner, and Chief Technology Officer of Whittle Communications. He has served on the launch teams for Channel One, Special Reports, Medical News Network (MNN), The Do-It-Yourself Network (DIY) and Home & Garden Television (HGTV), plus interactive television and internet streaming audio and video in both live and video-on-demand projects, including the first live Real Video event for the 1997 International Auto Show. Steve was a founder and developed the tech-nology infrastructure for MedCast.com, which was sold to WebMD / Healtheon. He has also built and managed one of the largest Internet hosting facilities in the Southeast, housing more than 2,500 Web sites, serving more than 100 million page views per month, and supported with an OC-48 fiber ring. He has also consulted for some of the largest corporations in the U.S. including Microsoft, North American Phillips, Times Mirror, AOL/Time Warner, E.W. Scripps, and Regal Cinemas. |
